Day 1: Arrive in London to begin your exploration of England

Days 2-6: FSC Science Exploration Course:
Learn research methods, ignite research passion
We are collaborating with the UK's Field Studies Council (FSC) to organise a premium course that combines ecological exploration, environmental education and an international perspective at their professional natural study bases:

Day 7-9: China-UK Youth Co-creation of Chinese Intangible Cultural Heritage Exchange Activity
The three-day China-UK youth cultural exchange activity specially invited several national-level intangible cultural heritage inheritors to provide guidance. Through intangible cultural heritage exhibitions, workshops and charity markets, it showcased the charm of Chinese traditional culture and promoted cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and the UK. Under the guidance of intangible cultural heritage masters, Chinese and British students formed teams to jointly plan and carry out intangible cultural heritage demonstration activities, cultivating their international collaboration capabilities.
Day 7 Intangible Cultural Heritage Workshop: Skills Training + Exhibition Planning
Under the guidance of invited intangible cultural heritage inheritors, Chinese and British youth jointly explore the essence of traditional Chinese crafts, and gain a deeper understanding of the cultural connotations behind the intangible cultural heritage skills.
Skills Training
Learn traditional craft techniques from intangible cultural heritage inheritors, experience the joy of handcrafting, and feel the charm of the craftsman's spirit.
Exhibition Planning
Students from both sides collaborate to design exhibition plans, considering how to showcase the beauty of intangible cultural heritage and spread traditional culture to the public.
Day 8 Sino-British Youth Co-creation of Intangible Cultural Heritage Exhibition
Joint Curatorial Plan
Students will work in groups to create introduction videos and posters for Jianchuan wood carving, paper cutting, and tea ceremony arts.
Interactive Exhibition Area Design
Design an interactive display showcasing the tea ceremony etiquette of the Song Dynasty, and create multimedia posters for calligraphy art. Through carefully arranging the themed exhibition areas, allow visitors to experience the charm of intangible cultural heritage up close.
Cultural Exchange and Interaction
Chinese and British students will take turns serving as cultural guides, promoting cross-cultural understanding and friendship.
Day 9 Non-Intangible Cultural Heritage Market: Cultural Interaction and Charity Sale
Through the wonderful performances of inheritors of non-intangible cultural heritage, bilingual student explanations, interactive displays, live experiences, and charity sales, the British public will be able to experience the charm of Chinese culture up close. The students will become cultural ambassadors, using English to introduce the features of each booth to the audience.
Jianchuan Wood Carving
Non-intangible cultural heritage inheritors will demonstrate their exquisite Jianchuan wood carving skills on site, with Chinese and British students taking turns explaining the characteristics of the wood carving art, and selling wood carving crafts, with the proceeds donated to the cooperating charity organisation.
Zodiac Paper Cutting
Master paper cutters will demonstrate on site, with Chinese and British students guiding the audience to experience the art of paper cutting. Paper cutting tutorials for zodiac designs will be provided, and the finished products will be sold as souvenirs, allowing more people to understand Chinese traditional culture.
Chinese Tea Culture
Tea masters will demonstrate Chaozhou kung fu tea and Song dynasty tea ceremony performances, with Chinese and British students taking turns explaining tea culture knowledge, accompanied by the sale of tea and snacks, allowing people to appreciate the profundity of Chinese tea culture.
Calligraphy Masterpieces
Calligraphers will demonstrate their skills on site, with Chinese and British students assisting in writing Chinese name scrolls, raising funds for charity organisations, allowing more people to experience the charm of Chinese calligraphy. The students will use bilingual explanations to interpret the meaning of each character.
Day 10: Face-to-face with Cambridge Scholars
Visit King's College, the memorial to Xu Zhimo, and take a boat trip on the Cam River to experience the poetic ambiance of Cambridge. Engage in discussions with Cambridge professors, exploring the significance of interdisciplinary research and receiving guidance for your future academic plans.
Punting on the Cam: Exploring Cambridge
Depart from the famous Trinity College boathouse and glide along the Cam River on a leisurely punt. Along the way, admire the iconic Gothic spires of King's College Chapel, the ingenious architecture of the Mathematical Bridge, and the elegant Bridge of Sighs at St John's College. It's as if Xu Zhimo's poem "Saying Goodbye to Cambridge Again" is echoing in your ears.
Professor Consultation: Academic Planning
Within the iconic Faculty of Education building at the University of Cambridge, students engage in in-depth dialogues with professors from the natural sciences, humanities, and social sciences. The professors not only share the latest research in their respective fields, but also provide personalised guidance on course selection, research experiences, and extracurricular activity planning based on the students' individual interests. Through interactive discussions, students gain an understanding of the importance of interdisciplinary learning, and how to incorporate experiences such as environmental technology and cultural preservation into their future application materials, laying a solid foundation for their undergraduate application journey.
Day 11: Strolling through Oxford, Exchanging with Academic Elites
Christ Church College: The Magical World of Harry Potter
Enter the famous Tom Gate and visit Christ Church College, where the dining hall was used as the filming location for the Great Hall of Hogwarts. Admire the 16th century stained glass windows and the hanging portraits of past college dons. Explore the ancient stone staircase - the scene of the Divination classroom in the films.
Oxford Student Sharing Session: Experiences of Student Life
In the historic reading room of the Bodleian Library, engage in in-depth conversations with current Oxford students. Share insights on academic challenges, the tutorial system, and how to balance studies with extracurricular activities.
Day 12: London Culture Day - British Museum
In the morning, embark on an in-depth cultural journey at the British Museum, where students will delve into the exploration of four major treasures: the Rosetta Stone, the Parthenon Sculptures, the Egyptian Mummies, and the Assyrian Lamassu.
In the afternoon, take a coach to Heathrow Airport. With a wealth of experiences and unforgettable memories, begin the journey back home.

Accommodation Arrangements
The FSC campsite provides comfortable and safe 2-6 person dormitories, equipped with the following facilities:
  • Standard bunk beds with quality mattresses and bedding
  • Individual desks and storage cabinets for each person

The campsite is staffed 24 hours a day with professional management to ensure student safety. Male and female students are accommodated in separate areas, with a resident advisor on each floor. Daily cleaning and linen change services are provided.
Teaching Staff
  • Multiple FSC course instructors: All hold advanced teacher certification from the Field Studies Council (FSC) in the UK and have over 5 years of field research experience. Their expertise covers ecology, marine biology, geology and environmental science, ensuring each course module is taught by a specialist instructor. All instructors hold first aid certificates and outdoor safety certifications.
  • life coaches: Chinese teachers with over 3 years of experience leading international study tours, fluent in both Chinese and English. They will accompany the students throughout, providing guidance on daily life, psychological counselling and cross-cultural adaptation. They will regularly organise team building activities and document the students' learning and growth.
  • 2 local UK project managers: Teachers from the local youth activity organisation AVCAS in the UK, with over 10 years of experience managing international youth programmes. They will liaise with the FSC centres, cultural institutions and universities to ensure the activities are carried out safely and smoothly.
  • 2 intangible cultural heritage instructors: National-level inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, who will assist students in planning and showcasing traditional Chinese culture.

Group Size Requirement
This itinerary requires a minimum of 12 participants and a maximum of 20. If the trip is cancelled due to insufficient numbers, a full refund will be provided.

Cancellation 50 Days or More in Advance
If you cancel the trip 50 days or more before departure, you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation 30-50 Days in Advance
If you cancel the trip 30-50 days before departure, we will deduct any non-refundable expenses (such as pre-paid hotel bookings, courses, etc.) and refund the remaining amount.

Cancellation Within 30 Days
Due to the significant impact that cancellations close to the departure date have on the overall group operation, no refund will be provided for cancellations within 30 days of departure.

If you are unable to travel due to visa rejection, we will work with you to determine a reasonable refund based on the specific cancellation timing and expenses incurred.

  • Can my child participate if they don't have an English foundation?
    Children need to have at least a B1 level of English proficiency in the UK. We will group students based on their English level. The FSC programme uses immersive learning, with practical activities to help students improve their English communication skills.
  • Is there medical coverage at the camp?
    There is comprehensive medical coverage. The camp has a professional medical room and certified medical staff, and we also purchase full-term medical insurance for each student to ensure they receive timely treatment in case of an emergency.
  • Can parents accompany their children?
    Parents are not allowed to accompany their children on this camp, as the aim is to foster the children's independence and teamwork skills. However, we will set up a parent WeChat group to share daily updates and photos from the camp, so parents can stay informed about their children. If parents are travelling to the UK separately, they can freely arrange their own activities or ask Feather Journey to customise a separate tour itinerary.
  • How is the children's safety ensured?
    We have multiple safety measures in place: professional teachers accompany the students 24/7, camp security personnel are on duty around the clock, students wear location tracking wristbands during activities, important areas are equipped with surveillance facilities, and we have detailed emergency plans in place.
